IFWorld approaches prompt design as a matter of tone, structure, and emotional discipline.

After comparing mainstream AI systems, OpenAI’s models most closely matched IFWorld’s narrative needs—supporting emotionally balanced responses, sustained narrative flow, and metaphorical reasoning without becoming prescriptive or therapeutic. This enables IFWorld to simulate parallel emotional futuresvwhile preserving ambiguity, reflection, and user agency.

System Map

A user begins with a reflective prompt in the web app. That flows through a Decision Framer, which structures intent, before being processed by ai service in two passes: logical analysis and emotional perspective.

The Scenario Generator creates parallel futures and reflection

On the back end, only minimal, consent-based data is stored in the journey, and user feedback helps refine the system as well.
